Use different proxy within Firefox

If you have to deal with more locations as myself, you'd love an extension like switchproxy, which allows you to switch between different proxy or to have one configuration without any proxy at all.
The point is that, after reinstalling a new laptop, I started to experience curious behaviours with Firefox. After two or three clicks, the scroll-bar went on the left side and after another click, Firefox did actually stop working. A restart of the browser was needed.
I decided for a complete repear of the browser, not after having saved my bookmarks and settings. Then, after the reinstallation, I made a "binary search" of the problem, by reinstalling all add-ons and settings, one by one. And testing the browser after each installation. I discovered switchproxy being responsible for the odd response; I deinstalled it and put a new add, FoxyProxy, which is also so effective as the other one.
And now everything works fine.

I put switchproxy down for FoxyProxy a couple of years ago. It looks like many other people had the same problem as you.
