The great experience I had in the last days with the light version of Linux, which has a light RAM footprint and load almost all the kernel in the RAM as well, together with the amazing price fall for the direct and flash RAM we experienced in the last months, made me think that it is time to develop a complex OS (like windows or a full Linux distribution) without dynamic load of library, obviously based on a 64 bit version of the processor; instead it shall be loaded completely at the start.
Which could boost the PC performance by a factor 100 to 1000.
